No matter how the Zimmerman jury verdict comes in, it was Progressivism that killed Trayvon Martin.
Progressives believe that so-called “smart people” in government know what is best for the rest of society. Of course that fundamental tenet is such an obvious lie that Progressives must constantly drum up boogey-men from which the public needs protection, so those “smart people” can step in and do the protecting.
Progressives promote the idea of boogey-men in oil companies, Republicans, rich people, owners of private airplanes, investors (usually referred to as “speculators” to make you think there is a different kind of investor from you and your grandmother), business owners, insurance companies, Christians, and on and on.
But the biggest boogey-man for progressives today is of course “white people.” Five generations ago, the lily-white Democrat Party adamantly promoted slavery, saying that people from Africa were inferior, that those Africans had better lives as slaves in America than they had being free in the wilds of Africa. One hundred fifty years later, the Progressives who own the Party Of Slavery (the Democrat Party) still say Blacks are inferior to every other race and so Blacks need protection from white people, even from “White Hispanics.”
The Progressive proposition of an intellect-run society necessarily must promote victimhood over self reliance for the masses. And it is that victim mentality that pervades the hearts of too many young Blacks. Victimhood keeps them down economically, makes them fearful, sucks hope and ambition out of them, replaces cooperation with animosity, and instills a dangerous anger that is beneficial to no one but the Progressives who put it there and fan its flames.
As long as Progressives are allowed to peddle their dangerous philosophy without serious challenge there will continue to be hysterical claims of racism designed to create ever more victims, just so those Progressives can reap the riches of power their lies bring them. Sadly, that means Progressives are already eagerly awaiting the next Trayvon Martin v. George Zimmerman case.
