By now you’ve heard about Al Gore’s tyrannical assertion that those of us who question climate change liars are to be compared to racists. Whenever it seems that this tired old dunce cannot get any dumber, he sticks his foot down his own throat even farther. I’ve take just one paragraph out of his lengthy interview with Ezra Klein and rewrote it to be accurate. Here is my infinitely better version of the situation, using most of Gore’s own words:
The conversation on global warming has been stalled because a shrinking group of climate liars fly into a rage whenever someone observes that man made global warming is a hoax. It’s like a family with an alcoholic father who flies into a rage every time a subject is mentioned and so everybody avoids the elephant in the room to keep the peace. But the political climate is changing. Something like the climate depot website (www.climatedepot.com) would have been shut down by frivolous lawsuits, intimidation, and cyber-attacks just a few years ago. Some mainstream journalists who’re still timid on the issue are now openly embarrassed about the extreme climate liars. The liars are being hit politically. They’re being subjected to ridicule, which stings. The polling is going up in favor of keeping the government from taking away our economic freedom based on this false issue. The ability of the raging climate liars to stop progress is waning every single day.
