The latest salvo in the sad saga of Democrats vs Freedom.
In a free market economy, you would not have to ask the government for permission to produce the goods that consumers want (in this case, oil and gas). The free market is the most democratic institution ever; people vote every minute in free markets. But, in the words of Obama and Biden, “That’s not who we are.” Democrats redefine words all the time. “Democracy” to them now means what the rest of us would call “Submission.”
